The Jaguar club of Austin was formed in 1974 by a group of Jaguar enthusiasts to promote and encourage individual and group interest in Jaguar motor cars and to provide a social environment for Jaguar lovers to share and exchange information and experiences.  This year’s concours will be on Saturday at the Georgetown City Square, Georgetown, TX. We will be parked on the street around the Historic Courthouse, providing a nice setting for displaying and judging of our Jaguars. The Square is home to shops and restaurants that are part of the downtown charm of Georgetown.

We will be showing again at the Centennial Plaza in Round Rock, Texas…a secluded and convenient location to exhibit your Jaguar. The historic Chisholm Trail crossed Brushy Creek at the “Round Rock”. Come visit us.

One of the first vehicles to feature a monocoque body structure, the Jaguar D-Type is considered one of the most beautiful cars in racing history. With a unique stable wing designed by Malcolm Sayers, the D-Type took home first place at Le Mans 3 years in a row, most notably in 1957 when it won five of the top six places, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

In Autumn 2016, Jaguar will return to motorsport as a manufacturer with its own team in the third season of the exciting FIA Formula E World Championship. FIA Formula E is the world’s first global single-seater championship for electric powered cars.

Underneath, the C-X17 Concept showcases the all-new intelligent aluminum architecture from Jaguar. Future Jaguar cars will be based off of this aluminum architecture engineered to deliver class leading performance

Select between the sport-infused XJ, redesigned with high-performance in mind, or the XJL where quilted seats and an available rear seat entertainment system prove decadence can be extremely tasteful.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but some things are aesthetically pleasing no matter who's looking–a freshly manicured baseball field, a perfectly poured Guinness and, of course, the Jaguar E-Type. First unveiled at the 1961 Geneva auto show, the Jaguar E-Type shocked the world and quickly catapulted to iconic status. Its drool-inducing design helped sell more than 70,000 cars from 1961 to 1975. The fact that it went faster than a Ferrari for half the price didn't hurt, either.

The quintessential British roadster had a wood framed body with hand crafted aluminum panels. The name refers to the top speed of 120 mph. One of the fastest cars in the world at the time, it launched the US invasion of two seat roadsters. We responded with the Corvette, and the rest is history.
